1 c. sugar
4 egg yolks or 3 whole eggs
1/2 c. butter
5 tbsp. flour
3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2-1 c. pecans
1/4 tsp. maple flavoring
1 baked (10") pie shell

Mix sugar, egg yolks (or 3 whole eggs), butter, flour, milk and vanilla in saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened. Add pecans and maple flavoring. Pour into baked pie shell. Serve.
