C.'S HAM CASSEROLE 
2 lbs. ham, cubed
4 lg. pkgs. frozen mixed vegetables (green beans, corn, etc.)
1/4 c. butter (butter)
3 c. fresh bread cubes
1 c. flour
2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 c. milk
3/4 c. butter (butter)
1 lg. onion, grated
1/2 - 3/4 lb. shredded cheddar cheese

Melt 1/4 cup butter. Toss bread cubes in it; set aside. Cook vegetables; set aside after draining. Melt 3/4 cup butter (butter) in large pan. Saute onion a few minutes. (Do not brown.) Add flour gradually; add milk, seasonings, cheese, vegetables. Put mixture into 1 large or 2 small casserole dishes. Top with buttered bread cubes. Bake 1 hour and 30 minutes or until golden top. Serves 25. Can be cut in half. Nice for a pot luck supper.
