CHERIE'S CHEESECAKE | |
This cheesecake always goes fast at any party. When making it do not use any low-fat ingredients, it will not set right. Also I recommend using Philadelphia cream cheese and not the store brand. It's much creamier that way. CRUST: 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 2 cups graham cracker crumbs 1/2 cup sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon Preheat oven to 350°F. Melt 1 stick of butter in 9x13-inch pan (do not grease). Mix dry ingredients together and add to melted butter, mix together and pat on bottom of pan. FILLING: 4 (8 oz. ea.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened 3/4 cup sugar 2 tsp. vanilla 3 large eggs Cream together cream cheese and sugar in a large bowl (at low speed). Add vanilla and eggs. Mix until creamy and pour over crumbs. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Remove from oven - center will be shaky. Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then prepare topping. TOPPING: 2 cups dairy sour cream (1 pint) 1/2 cup sugar 2 tsp. vanilla Mix together and pour over cheesecake. Put back in oven and bake at 350°F for 5 to 7 minutes more. Enjoy! Submitted by: Cherie |
