HAM AND CHERRIES MT. VERNON 
1 (6 lb.) boneless fully cooked ham (a 5 lb. canned ham can be used)
1 (1 lb., 5 oz.) can prepared cherry pie filling
2 tbsp. vinegar

Bake ham in 325 degree oven for 30 minutes. Remove ham from oven and cut away skin with a sharp knife. Score fat. Combine cherry filling and vinegar. Spread 1/3 of this mixture over ham and return to oven for 10 minutes. Baste second third of mixture over ham and return to oven for another 10 minutes. Spread remaining third of mixture over ham and leave in oven for an additional 10 minutes, a total of 30 minutes baking time after sauce is put on ham. Serves 8 to 10.
