HAM LOGS - CHERRY SAUCE 
1 lb. smoked ham, ground
1/2 lb. pork, ground
2 c. bread crumbs, fine
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 tsp. mustard, dry
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. mustard, prepared

Combine ham, pork, bread crumbs, egg and dry mustard. Mix well. Shape in logs and place in shallow pan. Combine brown sugar and prepared mustard. Spread over tops of logs. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

CHERRY SAUCE:

2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
#1 can sour red cherries

Combine and cook over low flame until thick and clear, stirring constantly.

My mom has been making this exact recipe for 60 years. I've been doing it for 40 years. This will make 16 logs. You can freeze the logs in advance. For the past few years I cook these on a pellet grill at 225°F with medium hickory wood smoke. It takes about 75-90 minutes to hit 165°F. It's a Christmas brunch favorite!
