2 c. granulated sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. cultured sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder

Cream sugar and butter; add eggs. Mix well. Add sour cream, baking soda and vanilla. Combine flour, salt and baking powder; add to mixture. Shape dough into long rolls and refrigerate. Slice and dip in sugar. Bake on lightly greased baking sheet at 350 degrees until lightly browned. Makes about 5 dozen or more.
