1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. dates
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. applesauce
2 c. plain flour
Dash of salt

Bake at 350 degrees until done in a bundt pan or loaf pan.
