THE LIFE SANDWICH 
Have you ever eaten a living sandwich? Maybe not, but here's one you should try!

1/2 cup alfalfa or other sprouts
2 slices toasted whole wheat bread or whole grain bread
1 tsp. pureed avocado
1-2 slices vine-ripened tomato

Spread the avocado over the bread, using it as a butter substitute. Evenly spread out the sprouts over the avocado.

Add a layer of thin tomato slices. Sprinkle ever so lightly with cinnamon, garlic or paprika.

Top with the second slice of toasted bread.

Sprouts are a healthy, live food, rich in protein, vitamins and minerals. Try growing your own sprouts in a canning jar - they will be ready to eat in just a few days!
