COCOA MINT CAKE AND ICING | |
2/3 c. butter 1 2/3 c. sugar 3 eggs 2 c. plain flour 2/3 c. Hershey's cocoa 1 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 1/3 c. milk 1/2 c. crushed peppermint candy 1/4 tsp. baking powder Cream sugar and butter, add eggs and beat 3 minutes at high speed. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, soda and salt. Add alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Blend in crushed candy. Pour batter into 3 greased and floured 9" cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until done. |
