CRANBERRY CREAM SALAD | |
1 (12 oz.) pkg. fresh cranberries 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 pkgs. gelatin 1 c. rose wine 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 1/2 c. seedless grapes, chopped 3 bananas, sliced 1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts In a 2 quart covered glass dish combine cranberries, strawberries and sugar. Microwave 6 to 8 minutes, until berries are tender. Dissolve gelatin in wine; add to hot berry mixture, stir. Pour mixture into large mixing bowl; add softened cream cheese; beat until smooth. Chill until slightly thickened. Fold in remaining ingredients. Grease a 2 quart salad mold with mayonnaise and pour in mixture. Chill until firm. Unmold salad and place on lettuce lined plate. |
