DATE-NUT SANDWICHES 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
3/4 c. chopped pecans
11 or 12 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. mayonnaise

Combine dates and pecans. Cream the cheese with mayonnaise; add date mixture; mix well. Spread on slices of whole wheat bread. Yield: 21 whole sandwiches.
