MOM'S SUGAR BALLS 
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 tbsp. light corn syrup
2 1/2 c. finely crushed vanilla wafers
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. orange juice

Melt chips over hot water; remove from heat and stir in sugar and corn syrup. Blend in orange juice. Combine vanilla wafers and nuts and add to chocolate mixture and mix well. Form 1 inch balls and roll in granulated sugar. Store in covered container several days before using and they will keep for 3-4 weeks. (Do not store with any other cookie or they will harden.)
