CANDIED PEACH YAMS 
1 lg. can sliced peaches, drained
5 med. yams
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. cashews

Combine brown sugar, cashews, and ginger. In a 10 x 6 x 2 baking dish, half the yams, half the peaches and half the mix. Repeat. Dot with butter. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake about 10 minutes longer. Spoon brown sugar syrup over the finished product before serving.
