1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped, unpeeled apples
Rum

Cream sugar and butter. Beat in egg. Sift dry ingredients together. Add and beat well. Stir in apples. Drop by tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in 375 degree oven for 12-15 minutes. Sprinkle with rum while hot from oven.
