FRIED PIE CRUST | |
5 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 egg 1 c. Crisco 1 tbsp. sugar 1 (13 oz.) can of milk 1 tsp. vinegar Mix dry ingredients well. Add Crisco, cut in shortening until mixture resembles corn meal. Combine egg, milk and vinegar. Roll out to 1/4 inch on each crust. Place a saucer over them and cut around them. Put in plate with wax paper between each of them. Put fruit in the middle; fold over and press with wet fork. Deep fry; take out when brown. |
