COUNTRY SKILLET DINNER | |
1 lb. ground chuck 2 tbsp. butter 1/2 (8 oz.) pkg. medium noodles (2 c.) 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce with mushrooms 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 lb. natural Swiss cheese, shredded 1/4 c. chopped parsley 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. sugar In medium cook and serve skillet over high heat in hot butter, cook meat until browned. Stir in uncooked noodles, tomato sauce, salt, sugar and pepper. Cook, covered, over low heat 20 minutes until noodles are tender; stirring occasionally. Sprinkle cheese on top; heat covered until cheese melts. Sprinkle with parsley. Makes 6 servings. |
