FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE 
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. nuts
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 (303) can fruit cocktail
3/4 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. Pet milk (evaporated milk)

Mix flour, sugar, salt and soda together, set aside. Mix brown sugar and nuts, set aside. Mix eggs and fruit cocktail with flour mixture. Pour in 13 x 9 x 2 greased and floured pan. Sprinkle brown sugar mixture over it. bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 325 degrees. Heat milk, butter and sugar. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and coconut. Spread over hot cake. Leave in pan.
