PICKLED MUSHROOMS 
1 lb. mushrooms, washed
1/8 tsp. thyme, crushed
3 peppercorns, crushed
1/8 tsp. fennel seed, crushed
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
3 tbsp. red wine vinegar
2 tbsp. oil
1/4 tsp. lemon peel
3 tsp. Bon Appetit Seasoning
1/2 tsp. parsley

Combine all ingredients and cook over low heat (covered for 4-5 minutes) about 15 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Stir (gently) often. Store in glass container in refrigerator. Bring out at least 1/2 hour before serving.

Do not add salt.
