1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. allspice
3/4 cup butter (1 1/2 sticks), softened
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

Combine all ingredients except flour and mix well, then add in flour. Roll out and cut with favorite seasonal cookie cutters.

Bake at 350°F to 375°F until golden brown.
