3 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
3/4 c. white Karo syrup

Mix these together in a heavy boiler, cook to hard boil stage when dropped in cold water. Stir occasionally while cooking. 3 level tbsp. of any flavor Jello

Beat egg whites until stiff. Sprinkle Jello over egg and stir. Pour hot syrup into egg whites. Gradually, beating constantly. 1 tsp. vanilla

Add nuts and vanilla and continue beating until it loses its gloss. Drop on waxed paper using two teaspoons, one to dip and the other to push candy from the first spoon.
