DILL PICKLED OKRA 
3 lbs. young okra
1 qt. water
2 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. salt
Dill or dill seed
Garlic cloves
Celery leaves

Wash and trim okra. pack into hot sterilized jars. Combine water, vinegar and salt; bring to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon dill or dill seed, 2 or 3 garlic cloves and some celery leaves to each jar. Pour hot liquid over okra, leaving 1/4-inch head space. Place lids on jars, screwing bands tight. Store for at least 3 weeks.
