4 c. diced apples
6 tbsp. butter
Few drops butter flavoring
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeats
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Prepare apples. Cream together sugar, butter, flavoring, and eggs. Sift flour, cinnamon, baking powder, soda and salt. Add dry ingredients to cream mixture. Add apples and nuts. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in greased cake pan.
