APPLESAUCE NUT BREAD 
2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 egg, beaten
1 c. med. thick unsweetened applesauce
1/4 c. cooking oil

Sift dry ingredients; add nuts. Combine egg, oil, and applesauce. Add to dry ingredients and stir until just blended. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
