BREAD PUDDING 
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. cut-up dry bread (about 4 slices, cut into 1/2 inch cubes)
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk (Pet)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon or nutmeg

Mix in a 2-quart bowl. Pour mixture into greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Set baking dish in a shallow pan, holding 1 inch of water. Bake 45 minutes or until pudding is firm at edges. Serve warm or cold. Serves 6.
