CRISCO POUND CAKE 
5 lg. eggs or 6 med.
3 c. sugar
2 sticks butter (1 c.)
1/2 c. Crisco
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 c. milk

Cream shortening and sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Sift flour, salt, and baking powder together, and add alternately with milk beginning and ending with flour. Add flavoring last. Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.
