TAMALE PIE 
1-1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 onion, chopped
Salt & pepper
1 can tomatoes (2 c.)
1/2-3/4 c. cornmeal
1/2-3/4 c. cold water
1 can corn, drained
1 can ripe olives, drained
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Few drops Tabasco sauce
1/2-3/4 tsp. chili powder
Colby cheese, shredded

Brown hamburger, onion, salt and pepper in a fry pan. Drain fat. In large kettle heat the tomatoes to boiling.

Mix cornmeal and cold water together and add to tomatoes. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Add corn, ripe olives, tomato sauce, Tabasco sauce, chili powder and cooked hamburger.

Mix all together and put in large casserole. Top with shredded Colby cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.
