LAYERED LETTUCE SALAD 
1 head lettuce
1 c. chopped celery
4 cooked & sliced eggs
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, uncooked
1/2 c. diced green pepper
1 diced onion
8 slices bacon, diced, fried & drained
2 c. mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
2 tbsp. sugar
4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese

Tear lettuce into bite-size pieces and put into 9 x 13 inch glass dish. Layer rest of ingredients in order given.

Add sugar to mayonnaise and spread on top. Top with cheese and refrigerate 8-10 hours, covered. Garnish with additional bacon and parsley if desired.
