COOKED TOMATOES 
1 pt. tomatoes, canned or fresh
1 tbsp. corn oil
Salt to taste
4 cold biscuits, crushed very fine
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. butter

Cook tomatoes in iron skillet until mushy. Add corn oil and salt. To this mixture add biscuits, sugar, and butter. Cook in iron skillet until thick. Very good with dried beans or any kind of meat.
