CHICKEN WITH SHERRY SAUCE 
2 fryers, cut up
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 pkg. Lawry's Italian spaghetti sauce mix
6 oz. can mushrooms
1 medium onion, diced fine
1/2 c. cooking sherry
4 tbsp. butter
1 medium green pepper

Saute onion and chicken pieces in butter until golden brown. Arrange in large baking dish. Blend mushrooms, tomato sauce, sauce mix and sherry. Pour over chicken pieces.

Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes in preheated 375°F oven. Before serving, garnish with pepper strips.

Serves 6 to 8.
