TOASTED PECANS 
1 egg white, stiffly beaten
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. pecan halves

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Combine egg white, brown sugar, and vanilla. Mix until well blended. Dip each pecan half into mixture. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake 30 minutes or until done. Cool thoroughly.
