COCONUT MACAROONS 
2 egg whites
3/4 c. sugar
Dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. flour
1 (7 oz.) pkg. coconut

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line 2 cookie sheets with foil. In medium bowl, mix egg whites, sugar, salt, and vanilla.

Add flour and mix well. Fold in coconut. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet 1 inch apart. Bake 15-20 minutes at 325 degrees. Cool on sheet, remove and store in tightly covered cookie jar. Makes 2 to 2 1/2 dozen.
