CHEESECAKE COOKIES 
2/3 c. butter
2/3 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 eggs
4 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla or almond extract

Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour, salt, and nuts and blend until mixture resembles crumbs. Press remaining mixture into 9 x 13 x 2 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Combine granulated sugar and cream cheese and beat until smooth. Add eggs, milk, lemon juice, and extract. Beat well. Pour into crust. Spread reserved crumbs over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
