JONNA'S CARAMEL APPLE PIE 
2 1/2 c. thinly sliced apple
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
25 caramels
3 tbsp. milk
1 pie crust
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Whipped topping

Preheat oven and baking sheet to 400 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine apples, sugar and flour. Set aside. In double boiler, melt caramels with milk, stirring frequently. Add apple mixture. Spoon into pie crust and top with pecans. Bake on preheated baking sheet for 25 minutes. Allow to cool 1 hour. Garnish with whipped topping.
