1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
Pinch salt
1 c. raisins
5 tbsp. raisin liquid
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
2 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
1 c. nuts

Boil raisins in water 10 minutes. Mix in order given and bake at 350 degrees. Cookies are moist and good.
