HAYSTACKS 
3 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
1 c. walnuts
1/2 lb. chopped dates

Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually add brown sugar, then flour, vanilla and salt. Fold in coconut, walnuts and dates.

Drop into buttered mini muffin tins. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. Store in tight container. Makes 24.
