Food coloring

Mix together equal parts of flour, salt, and water. Add small amount of liquid tempera paint or food coloring. Pour into plastic squeeze bottles like those for catsup. Squeeze onto pieces of cardboard or heavy paper. When these designs are dry, the salt gives them a glistening quality. Swirl the colors together for a dazzling effect.
