HAMBURGER CORN PONE PIE 
1 lb. hamburger
1 tbsp. shortening
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 recipe corn muffin mix
1/3 c. onion, chopped
3/4 tsp. salt
1 pt. tomatoes
1 can red kidney beans

Brown hamburger and onions in shortening. Add seasonings and tomatoes, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Add beans, pour mixture into greased casserole or leave in skillet. Make corn bread mix, or your own recipe, according to directions and pour over hamburger mixture, spreading carefully with wet knife if necessary. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes.
