SOUTHERN ICE CREAM PIE 
3/4 stick butter, melted
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
3/4 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
1 qt. ice cream (vanilla, chocolate, butter pecan or your favorite)

Melt butter, add sugar, flour and nuts to make a dough. Use enough to fill a pie plate, pressing to make a pie crust. Put balance in another pie plate or small pan. Bake both pans at 300 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let pie shell cool. Add softened ice cream; fill fairly deep. Take leftover crust in other pan and crumble to make topping for pie. Cover and freeze until ready to serve.
