"SLIGHTLY PEANUT BUTTER"
CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 sticks butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
3/4 c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts, chopped (optional)

Mix flour, soda and salt, set aside. Beat butter, peanut butter, sugars and egg until light and fluffy. Blend in flour mixture. Stir in chips and nuts. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
