MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
1/3 to 1/2 grocery bag of popcorn
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. Karo syrup
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Pop corn and place in grocery bag. Cook in saucepan until it comes to a boil; butter, brown sugar, Karo syrup and salt. After mixture comes to a boil, add the baking soda. Put mixture over popcorn in grocery sack and mix. Cook in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Shake. Cook for another 1 1/2 minutes. Shake. Open sack and spread corn out to dry (10 to 12 minutes).

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
