CHINESE SLAW 
1 can Chinese vegetables (chop suey vegetables)
1 can water chestnuts, sliced
1 can English peas
1 can French style green beans
1 can sliced mushrooms
1 sm. jar sliced pimento
1 c. celery
1/2 c. bell pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
Salt and pepper

DRESSING:

3/4 c. wine vinegar, or more
3/4 c. sugar, or less

Drain well the Chinese vegetables, water chestnuts, peas, green beans, mushrooms, and pimento and put in a large bowl. Add celery, bell pepper and onion all chopped fine. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.

Dressing: Mix the wine vinegar and sugar. Bring to boil cool. Pour over vegetables and marinate for 24 hours.

Great for diets! Keep it in refrigerator to snack on.
