COMPANY FRENCH TOAST 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
About 12 slices firm textured white bread
5 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 c. milk

Melt butter in 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon. Place bread in double layers over sugar mixture. Beat eggs and milk together and pour over bread. Cover and let stand in refrigerator overnight.

In A.M. uncover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cut into squares and invert on plate to serve. Serve with warm syrup, fresh fruit, or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
