FRENCH CHEESE CAKE | |
1 c. plus 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 c. soft butter 1 egg yolk 1/2 c. & 2 tbsp. sugar 1 lb. cream cheese 4 eggs, separated 1/4 c. sweet cream 1 tsp. vanilla Have butter, eggs and cheese at room temperature. Mix 1 cup flour with butter until blended. Add yolk and sugar, blend. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. Cool. Cream cheese filling until soft. Add flour and sugar. Mix well, beat in 4 egg yolks, sweet and sour cream and vanilla. Beat 4 egg whites with salt until stiff, but not dry. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. |
