German chocolate cake mix
1/2 c. butter
14 oz. caramels
1/3 c. milk
6 oz. chocolate chips
Chopped peanuts

Mix cake mix according to directions. Pour half the batter into a 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Melt caramels, milk and butter in double boiler, then pour over baked cake. Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips over top of caramel mixture. Spread rest of batter on top. Bake at 250 degrees for 20 minutes, then 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
