SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1 unbaked 8 inch pastry shell
1 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. white sugar
1 tbsp. flour
2 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter, melted (do not substitute)
1 c. pecans, chopped
Whipped cream or ice cream for topping (opt.)

Mix brown sugar, white sugar and flour. Add eggs, milk, vanilla and melted butter; beat well. Fold in pecans. Pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake in 375 degree oven for 40 to 50 minutes. Serve slightly warm. Top servings with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
