DO NOTHING CAKE | |
Cake: 2 c. plain flour 2 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained Mix all ingredients together in bowl with spoon and pour into prepared pan 9 x 13 inches. Bake 30 minutes at 350°F. Topping: 1 stick butter 1 c. sugar 2/3 c. evaporated milk (small can) 1 c. coconut 1 c. chopped nuts of any kind Cook together for 5 minutes. Simmer, do not boil. Add coconut and nuts. Have topping ready to cook and cook just as soon as the cake comes out of the oven. Pour hot topping over cake. Serve from the pan. Enjoy! |
