GERMAN CASSEROLE | |
1-1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 green pepper 1 onion 1 can whole kernel corn 2 cans cream of chicken soup 8 oz. noodles 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, cubed 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. MSG 1/2 tsp. thyme 1/2 tsp. basil Cook ground beef, green pepper, onion and seasonings together until browned. Cook noodles in boiling water according to directions on package. Combine meat mixture, undrained corn, soup and noodles. Stir in 1/2 of cubed cheese (reserve 1/2 for top). Pour into greased baking dish. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Add cheese to top the last 10 minutes. Cube cheese fairly small. |
