ROB'S POLYNESIAN BARBEQUE | |
2 fryers, cut up 1 lg. bottle soy sauce 2 tsp. powdered meat tenderizer 1 tbsp. garlic powder Water Salt Pepper (freshly ground if you've got it) Combine soy sauce, tenderizer, garlic, salt and pepper in an ovenproof container that will hold all the chicken. Place chicken in mixture and add enough water to cover chicken. Cover and let marinate overnight. Take chicken out of the refrigerator. Put the container of chicken on the stove and boil it for 15 minutes and remove from heat. Go outside with the chicken and put the chicken on the grill. Everytime you turn the chicken, dunk it in the soy sauce mixture before turning. Do this every time until the chicken is done. When the chicken is done, place it back in the soy sauce mixture and take it in and put it in a 200 degree oven. Wait for 30 minutes and then remove the chicken and serve in soy sauce mixture. Best Barbeque you've ever eaten. Try pork chops or ribs in this. |
