RICH CORN CAKE (BREAD) 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. flour
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy; add eggs and beat thoroughly. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk. Pour in buttered 9"x12"x2" pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
