SWEDISH PASTEL CREAM WAFERS 
1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. thick cream
2 c. sifted flour

FROSTING:

1/4 c. soft butter
3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla or almond extract
Food coloring

Mix butter, cream and flour. Chill. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Roll dough 1/8 inch on floured, cloth-covered board. Cut with 1 1/2 inch round cookie cutter. Roll only 1/8 of dough at a time and keep rest refrigerated.

Transfer rounds to waxed paper heavily covered with sugar. Turn with spatula so that both sides are coated with sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Prick with fork 4-5 times. Bake 7-9 minutes. Cool and put together with frosting. Delicious!
